4. Conﬁguring the Gateway via IVR

Preparation

•Install the Gateway according to the instructions as described in Chapter 2.

•If a static IP is used, conﬁrm the desired IP settings of the WAN Port (IP address, Subnet Mask, and

Default gateway). Please contact your local Internet Service Provider (ISP) if you have any questions.

•If using dialup ADSL (PPPoE) for network connection, conﬁrm your broadband account name and

password.

•If users wish to build a Gateway under the NAT, Gateway WAN Port IP address and LAN Port should

not use the same range. This is to avoid phone failures.

Conﬁguration Methods

The gateway provides two conﬁguration options:

1) Web Interface

2) Telephone IVR (Interactive Voice Response)

The IVR provides basic query and conﬁguration, while the Web interface provides a full conﬁguration.
